A Menu of Possibilities for the New Year

…where love exists, and only where it exists, can we speak of hope.
— Gabriel Marcel

As we turn the page of a New Year, I can't help but feel a sense of renewal. A chance to hit the reset button, an opportunity to revisit intentions and to dream a little bigger for myself and for the world.

So, as we begin a new chapter, let's take a pause. Let's reflect not just on the past, but on the dreams we carry for the future.

For weeks, my family and friends have asked me what my New Year’s resolutions are. I thought of the usual things: eat healthier, exercise more, take more walks. But as I mulled it over, I realized that what I want now is what I’ve always wanted: to continue to live a heart-centered life — a life of compassion. I believe in the power of the heart to guide us as we enter into the challenges and promises of 2024.

As I think about my resolution, I'm excited to share a Menu of Possibilities for us to reset our hearts and minds together. Here's a snapshot of experiences and tools I’m offering this year, crafted with love.

Menu of Possibilities

  1. NEW Digital Heart Maps® with Writing Prompts: Download the New Year's Map and the I-Am Map, crafted for your students and yourself. I think of these Heart Maps as personal companions on a reflective journey. Both Heart Maps come with thoughtful writing prompts. (Check back for additional digital Heart Maps in the future).

  2. Zoom and In-Person Workshops: I offer engaging workshops on writing, poetry, and Heart Mapping. Tailored for all ages, including special sessions for teachers.

  3. Online Workshops at The Poet's Studio: Explore the joy of words and teaching writing! Join me for online workshops designed for teachers, writers, and those starting their writing journey. Explore single sessions or multi-day offerings.

  4. One-on-One Writing Consultations: If you have a project, a manuscript, or a single poem or piece of writing that's been waiting for attention, I offer one-on-one feedback sessions. Drop me an email, and let's chat about your ideas.

  5. Heart Maps® Toolkit for Teachers: Don't forget to explore the Heart Maps Toolkit—a collection of resources designed for educators seeking creative and heartful teaching materials.

  6. Dream Up Your Own Way of Us Working Together: Let's get creative! If you've got an idea or a special way you'd like us to work together, let's make it happen. Share your dreams, and let's craft something extraordinary.

Let’s embrace the possibilities of creating heartful connections together.

Sending warmth and words your way,

♡ Georgia
